Delhi - Jaipur

Upon arrival we will pick you up and Drive to Delhi. The journey takes around 4 hours and on arrival you will check in hotel. We visit Amber Fort, situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur City. At the foot of the hill you will mount your dressed up Elephant for the climb to the main gate. The Fort, completed in the early 18th century, took over 100 years to build and now, offers a fascinating insight into the lifestyle of the Moghul ruling families. Afternoon tour of the Pink City where any antiques and artifacts belonging to the ruling family are housed. Also visit the Hawa Mahal and then move across some open-air Jantar Mantar Observatory that features vast astronomical instruments.. Enjoy a stroll through the colorful bazaar before returning to your hotel. Night stay will be in Jaipur. Afternoon tour of the Pink City where any antiques and artifacts belonging to the ruling family are housed. Jaipur - Udaipur

In morning drive towards Udaipur- an oasis in Rajasthan enroute visiting Pushkar which is one of its kind with attics temples though few are ancient and deserted by Aurangzeb and subsequently rebuilt. The most famous is the Brahma Temple, said to be one of only two such temples in existence anywhere in this world that is dedicated to this deity amongst others that still have considerable local fame. In Pushkar, the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma is maintained. Reach Udaipur and check-in at hotel. Night stay in Udaipur.

Udaipur

Tour of Udaipur city in the morning. In 1559 A.D., Maharaja Udai Singh established the city which has been called by Colonel James Todd as the most romantic place on the continent of India. Visit Jagdish temple, City Palace museum, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir and Pratap Memorial and Sahelion Ki Bari. Rest day at leisure. Night stay in Udaipur.

Udaipur - Jodhpur

After breakfast drive to Jodhpur. On arrival transfer to hotel. Night stay in Jodhpur. After a relaxed breakfast proceed for city sight seeing tour of Jodhpur. Founded in 1459, Prince Jodha built this palace for the Rathore clan that ruled over Marwar (Jodhpur). Take an inside view of Mehrangarh Fort which is perched on a low sandstone hill within the fort visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal Also visit Jaswant Thada – an imposing marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant singh II around 1899 ,Umaid Public gardens.Night stay in jodhpur

Jodhpur - Jaisalmer

After breakfast check out from hotel, drive to jaisalmer this road trip to jaisalmer takes 6 hrs. En route visit Pokhran Fort a historic fort with a museum, On Arrival Jaisalmer transfer to hotel and take some rest. Day free for own (depending the time permitting). Overnight stay at hotel.

The morning tour of Jaisalmer includes sightseeing in the city. Within the desert, a region made of sandstone that was polished with gold is now a city that feels alive and is full of intricately carved buildings. Late in 12th century Rawal Jaisal deserted Ludarwa to set up his new fort on the Trikuta Hill. The exquisitely chiseled windows and projecting balconies represent fascinating architectural splendors as may be seen at Patwon Ki Haveli and Salim Singh Ki Haveli. Jaisalmer - Bikaner

Next day, take up a morning drive to Bikaner. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Later city sight seeing tour. Bikaner was founded in 1488 by Rao Bikaji whose name it carries. It stands on an elevation and is surrounded by a 7 kms wall which can be entered from five gates. Bikaner City is reinforced by formidable walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and mosque. The fort is characterized by its long line of balconies, a row of thirty-seven pavilions and aerial windows of varying designs. Also visit Lallgarh Palace, Bhanda Sagar Jain and Deshnoke Rat temple. Night stay in Bikaner.

Bikaner - Mandawa

Morning drive to Mandawa, on arrival transfer to the hotel. Later visit Mandawa, founded 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh and still the home of his descendants, has beautiful frescoes havelis and mansions. It is now a hotel where one can have an experience of living in the castle with all modern amenities yet old world charm preserved as many rooms retain their original frescoes painted more than a century ago.Mandawa castle one of the finest castles of Rajasthan, is now a hotel and house of collection of armories, costumesof ancestors, canons from1820 ancient coins numismatic collection and many other interesting items , preserved in museum .Night stay in Mandawa.

Mandawa - Delhi Depart
