Arrival in Delhi

Upon arrival at Delhi International Airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. It is a city that has been an idyllic symbol of the magnificent past and thriving present of India. It has never failed to amaze its visitors with its beautiful blend of various nationalities, diverse cultures & traditions, the heritage of the bygone eras and its modern lifestyle – all rolled into one. The day is at leisure.

Delhi Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin your Delhi sightseeing with a visit to Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque, followed by Chandni Chowk, the oldest and busiest market in Old Delhi. Stroll to Fatehpuri Masjid and enjoy a rickshaw ride to Red Fort, where your driver will meet you. Drive past this 17th-century fort to Rajghat, Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial with an eternal flame.
Next, visit Humayun’s Tomb, India’s first garden-style tomb, inspired by Persian architecture. Drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan, the President’s residence, and India Gate, a tribute to World War I soldiers. Conclude your tour with a visit to Qutub Minar, built in 1193 by Qutb-al-Din Aibak to mark the beginning of Muslim rule in India.

Delhi

Early morning, we will attend a Yoga class at Lodi Garden. Yoga is a total mind-body workout that combines strengthening and stretching poses with deep breathing and meditation or relaxation. Go back to the hotel for breakfast. After this proceed for a cooking class at the host’s home in Delhi followed by lunch. We can also arrange for a lesson on how to wear a saree.
In the evening visit Dilli Haat which is an open-air food plaza along with stores selling handicrafts and artefacts. Extensive foundation work, small thatched roof cottages and kiosks give the plaza a village atmosphere. Get an opportunity to see how "Mehndi" is applied and also experience it. Mehndi is the art of colouring hands with a Henna paste which is very popular in India. You can end the day with a spa session at the hotel itself.

Delhi - Jaipur (260 Kms. / Approx 06 Hrs. Drive)

Post breakfast and check out, drive to the beautiful city of Jaipur, also known as the Pink City of India. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Jaipur is a city known as the Pink City of India due to extensive use of pink sandstone in various buildings of the city. Its monuments showcase a myriad of architectural styles and its vibrant bazaars are famous for traditional handicrafts and jewellery. The ambience of this city speaks volumes of the rich lifestyle of the Rajput Kings.

Jaipur Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin your Jaipur sightseeing with a visit to Amer Fort, a 16th-century hill fort built by Raja Man Singh. Showcasing grand halls, pavilions, and royal chambers, it reflects the golden era of Rajput rule. The fort’s reflection on Maota Lake is mesmerizing. Enjoy an elephant ride to and from the fort.
Next, explore the City Palace, the former royal residence featuring grand courtyards, meeting chambers, silver vessels, and intricately carved private rooms. Visit Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory home to the world’s largest sundial, Samrat Yantra. Conclude the day at Hawa Mahal, the iconic five-story Palace of Winds, built in 1799, with 953 beautifully designed lattice windows.

Jaipur - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra (240 Kms. / Approx. 05 Hrs. Drive)

After breakfast, drive to Agra. En-route, visit 16th century Fatehpur Sikri that boasts of some of the magnificent monuments built during the Mughal Era. Here visit the Panch Mahal (a five-storey palace built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar), Buland Darwaza (the highest gateway in the world built by Emperor Akbar in 1601 to commemorate his victory over Gujarat) and much more. Continue driving to Agra. It is a beautiful city located on the banks of River Yamuna. It is dotted with various historical structures that reflect the opulence of the Mughal era in India. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. The day is free at leisure.

Agra Sightseeing

Start your day with an early morning visit to the Taj Mahal, a symbol of love and one of the 7 wonders of the world, built in 1631. Witness its stunning sunrise views, as the monument reflects pink hues in the morning, milky white in the evening, and golden under moonlight. Return to the hotel for breakfast.
Later, explore Agra Fort, a grand red sandstone structure resembling Delhi’s Red Fort. Key attractions include Sheesh Mahal, Diwan-i-Aam, Diwan-i-Khas, and Jahangir Palace. Visit the Tomb of I'timad-ud-Daulah, often called the “Baby Taj,” India’s first pure white marble tomb. Return to the Hotel to rest.

Jhansi (By Train), Jhansi - Orchha (20 Kms. / Approx 50 Min. Drive)

After breakfast, drive to Agra railway station to board the train to Jhansi. Upon arrival, our representative will transfer you to Orchha. Check in at the hotel and relax before exploring this historic town, known for its stunning palaces and temples built by the Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th centuries.
Begin your sightseeing at the Orchha Fort Complex, visiting Jehangir Mahal, built in the 17th century by Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo to honor Emperor Jehangir’s visit. Its robust structure is beautifully complemented by delicate chhatris and trellis work. Explore Raj Mahal, adorned with exquisite religious murals and crowned with elegant chhatris. Visit the unique Ram Raja Temple, once a palace, where Lord Rama is worshipped as a king. Conclude the tour at Laxminarayan Temple, linked to Ram Raja Temple by a flagstone path, featuring some of Orchha’s finest wall paintings.

Orchha - Khajuraho (190 Kms. / Approx. 05 Hrs. Drive)

After breakfast, drive to Khajuraho and check into the hotel upon arrival. Once the capital of the Chandela kings, Khajuraho’s temples were built between 950-1050 AD, though many were later destroyed by invaders. Today, only 22 of the original 85 remain, adorned with intricate sculptures depicting gods, goddesses, animals, and beautifully carved erotic figures.
After some rest, explore the Khajuraho Group of Temples, a testament to the grandeur of the Chandela dynasty. These temples, around 200 years old, are divided into three groups: **the Eastern group**, dominated by Jain temples, with Parsvanath Temple being the largest; **the Western group**, home to architectural masterpieces like Kandariya Mahadev, Devi Jagadambe, Chausath Yogini, and Chitragupta Temple; and **the Southern group**, featuring Duladeo, Chaturbhuj, and Beejamandal Temples. These temples are renowned for their exquisite carvings, unmatched in India.

Khajuraho - Varanasi (By Flight)

After breakfast, our company representative will drive you to the Airport to board your flight to Varanasi. On arrival at Varanasi, our company representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel, and the rest of the day is at leisure. Varanasi is a city located on the banks of River Ganga that is the 2nd largest river of India. Formerly known as Kashi and Benares, this city is around 3000 years old. It is one of the holiest pilgrimage sites of Hindus as it is considered to be the abode of Lord Shiva (God of Destruction). Every year, Hindu devotees visit this city to take a holy dip in the River Ganga that is said to wash away all the sins.

Varanasi Sightseeing

Your Varanasi sightseeing tour begins with an early morning boat ride on the River Ganges, offering stunning views of the sunrise. Afterward, return to the hotel for breakfast.
Post breakfast, visit Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. This sacred Buddhist site holds great significance and is a must-visit for spiritual seekers. Next, explore the New Vishwanath Temple, also known as Birla Mandir, dedicated to Lord Shiva and located within Banaras Hindu University. It took 35 years to complete this magnificent temple.
Continue to the Tulsi Manas Temple, built by the royal family of Banaras in 1964, believed to be the place where Tulsidas wrote the epic Ramcharitmanas. Nearby, visit the Durga Temple, also known as the Monkey Temple, dedicated to Goddess Durga.
In the evening, witness the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, a mesmerizing ritual performed on the banks of the Ganges, practiced for thousands of years.

Varanasi - Departure

After breakfast, get transferred to Varanasi Airport to board flight back home.
